Q & A WITH LACEY

You spend a lot of your time getting members up and running with FSE’s programs – do you love when members constantly reschedule appointments to get set up?

Getting retailers to do anything can be like herding cats.  The reschedules or no shows are par for the course at this point.  Luckily, I am very used to it and have the ability to stalk retailers like a pro so I can typically get what I need from them.

You and Matt are always reciting movie quotes. What movie would you say you quote most often and is it one of your favorite movies?

This is a tough call.  I would have to say it is probably a tie between Ghostbusters and Jurassic Park.  Although Matt would probably say it was something else.  These two movies are classics in their own right and are incredibly quotable.  We both grew up watching them constantly so the quoting just happens naturally.  It only gets awkward when Kate has no idea what we’re talking about, or if we happen to quote a movie in a budget meeting.

You have a garden that produces a good amount of veggies. What is your favorite to grow (and eat)?

Favorite to grow are heirloom tomatoes.  Huge difference between eating a fresh tomato and buying from a grocery store.  They taste like candy!  Favorite to grow is onions because they take the least amount of work.

What would you like to try to grow that you haven’t?

Carrots.  Root veggies for whatever reason are harder for me to grow.

You have been working for CCA in the Bike & Fitness division for over 14 years – is it true that you want to be buried here?

I wouldn’t say buried, but I would like a parade for my efforts.  Balloons, live music, etc.

New England Clam Chowder – but is it the red or the white?

I can never remember that.  White?
